CASE COMPETITION… Win an opportunity to help 3 billion people. Lack of cooling causes medicine to go bad and food to become unsafe or inedible. Join this design sprint hosted by the makerspace association “Maker” to invent, design and build a refrigerator that works without electricity. You won’t win money or access to a business accelerator programme. But you will win access to one of the coolest makerspaces in Denmark and the gratitude of some of the poorest people on the planet.

WHAT

A development sprint in a cross-disciplinary team assembled by Maker. The goal: To develop an open source, off-the-grid refrigerator for use by the 3 billion people who lack access to efficient cooling because they live in countries and communities with limitied acces to electricity or plagued by frequent power cuts.
