Overweight is one of the most significant risk factors for the development of chronic diseases, poor well-being, and quality of life. It is also a significant factor for social inequality and great costs for society in Denmark and globally. Join this challenge to meet and network with life science companies, work in interdisciplinary teams, get unique input on how to improve products and learn how to develop ideas to impact the creation of new solutions in the life science industry.
WHAT
An innovation program designed to strengthen the problem-solving skills of university students with a focus on real-world issues. Up to 50 participants will collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to come up with the best solutions to challenges provided by the companies Embla, Liva Healthcare, and Novo Nordisk. The challenge is a collaboration between the Copenhagen Science City-partner University of Copenhagen (KU Lighthouse and The Pipeline) and Copenhagen Capacity with support from the Lighthouse Life Science – Healthy Weight project.
