More or less unnoted, automation have sneaked into the laboratories of the scientists, the experimentalists and the synthetic and medicinal chemistry. To some extent, we now take automation for granted. But how far can we take automation and can we automate the entire process of chemical synthesis and drug discovery and the synthesis of complex natural products or biopolymers such as carbohydrates?
Professor Takahashi (formerly from Tokyo Institute of Technology, now at Yokohama University of Pharmacy) has for a long time been a leading figure in automation of the synthesis of complex natural products and carbohydrates.
Come and learn more about ”automation of Science” and meet the highly entertaining and charismatic Professor Takahashi.
The lecture is arranged on behalf of the graduate programme in pharmaceutical sciences, Drug Research Academy, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen by John Nielsen, Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology.
The arrangement is free of charge and open for attendance by all interested parties. It is not necessary to pre-register.Read about the event here
